Vaccination Information

For the welfare of your pets and others, you are required by law to bring proof that your pets inoculations have been given by a licensed veterinarian and are current. Please check with your veterinarian, most are able to give you a print out, or records may be phoned in directly to us from your veterinarian to (618)644-5823. We currently do not accept shot records via fax or e-mail. Dogs are required to have current Rabies and DHLPP shots, but we also suggest the Bordetella vaccination. Cats are required to have Rabies vaccination and FVRCP, but we also suggest the Feline Leukemia vaccination.

Medication Information

If your pet is on a medication, you must bring enough medication for your pet’s entire stay, and if possible, in its original container, labeled clearly with the pet’s name and instructions. Let us know when to start the next dose and the reason for the medication so we can administer your pets medication during your stay.

We will administer any medication according to your veterinarian’s directions as no extra charge during the hours of 8:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.. Any medications needed before or after those hours will be subject to a service charge of $5.00 per dose.

Payment for boarding charges is expected in full when you come to drop the pet off. Visa, MasterCard, Cash, Checks and Debit cards with Visa/MasterCard logo are all acceptable forms of payment. If during the course of your pet’s stay, there is any damage done by your pet to the structure of the building or equipment, you will be responsible for labor and material cost to repair or replace. Also if pet received grooming or extra services during stay, these charges will be expected to be paid in full when you come to pick up. Pets coming only for grooming will need to pay at pick up.

Flea Policy

We check your pet for fleas shortly after their arrival.  If we do find fleas on your pet, it is our policy to give your pet a flea bath.  This will result in an additional  charge to the owner.

We do our best to prevent fleas with routine spraying of kennel areas and checking pets routinely during their stay.

In order to protect all residents in the kennel, we suggest that you use Frontline, Advantix, Comfortis or Advantage on your pet.

No Show/Call Policy

To be fair to every one, we need a 24 hour notice if you will not be able to fulfill your boarding reservation or grooming appointment. If you get a history of three no shows/no calls there will be a $20.00 deposit charge to be paid before making your next boarding or grooming reservation. If your arrival/departure dates change due to an emergency, please be sure to notify us.

We do not provide bedding for your pet.  Please bring what you feel is safe and comfortable for your pet to lay on.

Emergency Contact:
We require a local emergency contact that can make decisions for your pet on your behalf if we are unable to contact you.

We also need the name and contact information for your pet’s regular veterinarian.

Toys & Treats
Treats and toys may be brought, but they can get lost.

Damage to Toys & Bedding
It is common for pets who are being boarded to behave differently than they would at home.  For example, a toy that a pet has played with for years at home may be excessively chewed and destroyed while being boarded.
